Carlos Remembers the Honorable Senator Ted Kennedy
I was fortunate enough to meet Senator Kennedy in 2005. I will say that his compassion and dedication to public service immediately came across. He was very humble and although we only spoke for a few minutes it was an honor to even be in his presence.
We all know the greatest tribute we could do for this life long public servant is to finally get healthcare which will protect all Americans. I am personally dedicated to healthcare for all because like Senator Kennedy I know that it is a right, not a privilege. I am committed to helping my neighbors, my brothers, my sisters. This is a pledge I make not just as a council candidate but as a human being. I am committed to helping others as was Senator Kennedy.
